John Fors is a Principal with Symphony Technology Group, where he provides ongoing leadership for solution strategy and technology assessments related to Symphony’s current and future portfolio companies. Most recently, John has focused on strategic growth and product innovation initiatives at Information Resources Inc. (IRI) and at Netik.
John has more than 12 years of direct experience in solutions strategy and product management leadership roles at several software technology companies, such as i2 Technologies, Aspect Development, and Information Resources Inc. John previously was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey&Company, where he supported clients in telecom, aerospace, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries – primarily in the areas of product development, lean manufacturing, and corporate strategy. John graduated from Chalmers University of Technology, with MSc in Engineering Physics, and also has Bachelor degree in Management Finance from Gothenburg School of Economics. John has served as officer and company leader in the Arctic Rangers in Swedish Army Reserves.
