Dr. Romesh Wadhwani – Chairman & CEO
Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, is the founder, Chairman & CEO of Symphony
Technology Group. Romesh was the founder and former chairman & CEO
of Aspect Development, Inc., until 1999 when the company was purchased
by i2 Technologies, and Romesh became the vice chairman of i2 Technologies
and a member of the i2 board of directors. Over the past nine years,
Dr. Wadhwani spearheaded the emergence of Aspect as a leader in
the fast-growing B2B e-commerce arena. This dominance led to Aspect's
merger with i2--the largest merger in software history. Dr. Wadhwani
was previously chairman and CEO of Cimflex Teknowledge Corporation,
a company specializing in products and systems for computer-integrated
manufacturing. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO of a company
specializing in information systems for energy management. In addition,
he has been a director on the boards of several companies and organizations.
Dr. Wadhwani received his Bachelor of Science degree from IIT Bombay
and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon
University.

Herb Hunt – Executive Vice President, Operations
Herb Hunt joined Symphony Technology Group in June 2005 as the Executive
Vice President, Operations. In this role, Herb is responsible for
ensuring the effective transformation and operations of group companies.
Prior to Symphony, Herb worked at Siebel Systems and IBM. Joining
Siebel Systems in September 2001, he held many positions, including
Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, Quality Engineering & Offshore
Operations, Senior Vice President, Global Services and Senior Vice
President, Strategy. Herb's last assignment at IBM was Vice President,
Worldwide Reengineering, Sales, Service and Marketing where he was
responsible for all aspects of IBM's Global Transformation. Prior
to this assignment, Herb held many senior-level positions with IBM
around the world such as Vice President, Operations - IBM Europe,
Middle East and Africa and Vice President, Operations - IBM Asia-Pacific.
In these roles, Herb oversaw the implementation of IBM's go-to-market
model and the operation of the Sales organizations that support
IBM's large global customers. Herb held various executive positions
in the Asia-Pacific region for 20 years, including Sales, Service,
Marketing and Software Development assignments. Herb joined IBM
in the Vancouver, Canada Branch office in 1969.

William Chisholm – Managing Director
William Chisholm has been a managing director of Symphony Technology
Group since its inception in 2002. At Symphony, Bill leads all of
Symphony’s investments and takes an active role in the day
to day management of Symphony group companies. Bill has led Symphony’s
investments in IRI, Intentia / Lawson Software (NASDAQ: LWSN), Symphony
Services, IMI (NASDAQ: CHINA), GERS and IFX and and serves
on the board of directors of these companies. Prior to joining Symphony,
Bill spent the previous seven years advising and investing in software
and information services companies at Bain & Company and The
Valent Group.
At Bain & Company, Bill worked extensively in the firms Private
Equity Group and Technology practice and co-founded Bain Ventures
and Servicys, one of Bain & Company’s first direct investments.
As a co-founder and managing director at The Valent Group, an early
stage venture firm, Bill invested in the enterprise software sector
in emerging and successful companies including Trigo Technologies
(NYSE:IBM) and Metratech. Previously, Bill worked as an investment
banker at PaineWebber Incorporated. Bill graduated from Dartmouth
College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from The Wharton School
with an MBA with Distinction.

Michael J. Guthrie – Managing Director
Mike Guthrie has been financing technology companies in Silicon
Valley for nearly 20 years. He has broad experience in buyouts,
venture, growth equity, all forms of debt and equity financing and
M&A. Mike joined Symphony Technology Group as a Managing Director
in January 2007. His primary responsibilities include sourcing middle
market buyout opportunities in the areas of software and information/business
services and participating on the fund’s investment committee.
Prior to Symphony, Mike joined Garnett & Helfrich Capital (GHC)
in 2004 as the firm was closing its first fund. Mike helped to source
the firm’s largest investments – Wyse and Ingres. He
was also responsible for negotiating all key elements of those transactions
and for structuring and financing the investments. He served briefly
as the interim Chief Operating Officer of Wyse and as the interim
Chief Financial Officer of Ingres.
In 2000, Mike joined TPG Ventures as a co-founder and General Partner.
Mike focused on early stage investing and middle market buyouts.
He sourced the firm’s investments in Nitronex, FyreStorm,
eSilicon and Optium and served on the board of directors of each
company. Optium (NASDAQ: OPTM) completed an initial public offering
in 2006 and was one of the year’s best performing technology
IPOs. From 1999 – 2000, Mike ran the west coast private equity
practice of J&W Seligman where he led investments in companies
such as ONI Systems, New Focus and Microtune. Mike also had a ten
year banking career and was most recently at Credit Suisse First
Boston. At CSFB, Mike advised a wide range of clients on financial
and strategic matters. His clients included OpenWave, JDS Uniphase,
RF Micro Devices, Broadcom, MIPS (on their spinout from SGI) and
Conexant (on their spinout from Rockwell).
Mike earned his BA from the University of Virginia and his MBA
from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jose Rivero – Managing Director & Operating
Partner
Jose Rivero is Managing Director and Operating Partner at STG. In
this role Jose is responsible for the operation and transformation
of STG's portfolio companies, as well as supporting investment initiatives.
Jose brings extensive experience with outsourcing services, combined
with a strong background in strategy, marketing, operations and
new business creation. Jose joins STG from Accenture, where he was
the Global Managing Director of the firm's Custom Business Process
Outsourcing Services division, which provides client-specific business
process outsourcing solutions to government, financial services,
high tech, communications and other markets worldwide. Before joining
Accenture, Jose held a number of positions at Automatic Data Processing
(ADP); he most recently was the Senior Vice President of the Automotive
Claims Services (ACS) Division. Prior to his stint with ADP, Jose
was a Senior Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company. Jose holds
an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a M.S. in Engineering
and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology.

Brad MacMillin – Chief Financial Officer
Brad MacMillin is the Chief Financial Officer for the Symphony Technology
Group. Brad’s responsibilities at Symphony include investor relations,
deal structuring and deal execution as well as financial reporting,
accounting, partnership matters, compliance, and other financial,
legal and administrative functions at the firm. Prior to Symphony,
Brad served as a chief financial officer and vice president of finance
of several successful venture-backed companies, including Stentor,
Inc., a health care enterprise software company, which was acquired
by Philips Medical Systems (NYSE: PHG) in 2005. Brad also served
as a corporate securities lawyer with Cooley Godward LLP focusing
on emerging companies, and a certified public accountant with Arthur
Andersen. Brad received his undergraduate degree in economics from
UCLA and a law degree from UC Hastings.

Chet Kamat – Managing Partner - India
Chet Kamat joined Symphony Technology Group in September 2006.
As Managing Partner, India; Chet is responsible for the transformation
and operations of STG’s portfolio companies with a particular emphasis
on their use of global service models. Chet has over 20 years of
experience covering areas such as strategic and operational consulting,
global service delivery models and large scale business operations.
Prior to STG, Chet worked as the CEO of a retail financial services start-up
and at Accenture. Joining Accenture in 1986, Chet worked across Accenture
locations in India, United States, Sweden, Hungary and the Philippines
across a variety of business consulting and large scale systems integration
engagements. In his last role at Accenture, Chet was Managing Partner of
Accenture’s India Delivery Centre Network which he was responsible for
establishing from scratch and growing to a 13,000 strong unit serving
over 200 global clients. Chet obtained his Masters in Computer Science from
the University of Bombay and an MBA from the Indian Institute
of Management at Ahmedabad.

John Tristan (J.T.) Treadwell – Principal
J.T. is a Principal with the Symphony Technology Group, where he has
helped lead and manage Symphony’s investments in Information
Resources Inc. (IRI), Intentia / Lawson (NASDAQ: LWSN) and GERS
Retail Systems.
J.T. joined Symphony from Qiva, a global logistics software company
where he was Director of Marketing, and Director of Strategic Planning.
Prior to Qiva, J.T. was the associate for the west coast enterprise
software and services practice at Bessemer Venture Partners, helping
create investments in companies like Worldchain, Nistevo, and Trigo
(Acquired by IBM), where he served on the Board of Directors. Prior
to Bessemer, J.T. was a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group
where he helped drive numerous strategic marketing and business
development projects for clients in technology, consumer goods,
and finance. He holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Ethics, Politics,
& Economics and History from Yale University.

Jim Clayton – Principal
Jim Clayton brings extensive experience in building new companies
to the team at Symphony Technology Group where he has lent his expertise
to numerous portfolio companies, including Symphony Metreo, Qiva,
Trigo Technologies, and ePIT Systems. Prior to joining Symphony,
he was an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company and a member
of its Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice. At McKinsey, he
worked with clients in a variety of industries, including transportation,
energy, technology, and finance. Jim attended the University of
Texas, where he earned a BA degree in business administration and
a law degree.

Marc Bala – Associate
Marc joined Symphony from Capco, a leading global provider of integrated
consulting, processing services and products for the financial services
industry. Marc held numerous operational roles at Capco and most
recently was the Director of Corporate Development. Prior to Capco,
Marc was a Senior Associate at a boutique investment bank where
he advised and invested in enterprise software and technology services
companies. Marc started his career in the corporate finance practice
at Farrell Grant Sparks, an Ireland-based accounting and consulting
firm focused on the technology industry. Marc received his Bachelors
from Boston College and his Masters from University College Dublin.
